schools4schools is currently concentrating on rebuilding schools in Pakistan destroyed by the recent earthquake, by getting individual British schools to twin with schools and sponsor their reconstruction. We already have the support of several leading schools and corporate sponsors.

In the long term, schools4schools intends to facilitate sponsorship all over the world. Schools4schools will provide a channel for communication between the schools in Britain and their twin schools abroad; keeping them up to date with reports on the children and the reconstruction.

The aim is to build long-term cultural links, including, sending text books, equipment, or even that children from British schools could go and teach in their Gap year, in a school they know in the developing world.
